From the first cut to the file you upload, here's exactly what we do, what's in each tier, and what it costs. No mystery line items — pick the level your show needs and step up when it earns it.
The full pipeline
Not every show needs every stage — that's what the tiers are for. But when an episode goes through the whole bench, this is the order it travels in.
The structural pass: cutting dead air, restarts, rambles and the tangent that didn't land. We keep the show tight without making the hosts sound clipped.
Room hum, AC drone, mouth clicks, plosives and the worst of a rough remote line — removed surgically, then stopped before voices start sounding synthetic.
Every speaker balanced to sit at the same level, music beds and stings placed, intro and outro assembled so the whole episode feels like one piece.
Loudness-normalised to the spec Apple, Spotify and YouTube actually want (around −16 LUFS), with true-peak headroom so nothing distorts on a phone speaker.
Written episode summary, timestamped chapters and the quotable lines pulled out — the metadata that helps listeners find you and stay.
The finished file lands in your shared folder, or we upload it straight to your host. Audiogram clips for social come with the series tier.
The restraint clause
The fastest way to ruin a podcast is to process it until everyone sounds like a help-line robot. We treat audio the way a good colour grade treats film — fix the real problems, then leave the character alone.
What it costs
Clear scopes, no retainer you have to grow into. Every tier includes one review round, distribution-ready exports and a fixed price agreed before any work starts.
For solo and interview shows that just need to sound professional. Top-and-tail edits, level matching, noise removal and a tidy export.
Everything in Clean Cut plus a proper mix, music beds, intro/outro assembly and written show notes with timestamped chapters.
For brands publishing weekly. A dedicated editor, batched delivery, audiogram clips for social and direct upload to your host.
A salvage session for a recording gone wrong — echoey rooms, clipped guests, a dropped track. We tell you honestly what's recoverable before we start.
Bolt onto any tier
Pick these up à la carte on a single episode or fold them into a Series Partner plan. Quoted per item so you only pay for what you use.
Captioned 30–60 second video clips for LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube Shorts, cut from the moments most likely to travel.
Cleaned, speaker-labelled transcript for accessibility, SEO and repurposing into blog posts or newsletters.
A scripted, voiced and scored open and close written for your brand — produced once, reused every episode.
Dynamic-ready ad slots placed, levelled and timed so sponsor reads sit cleanly inside the episode.
Next-business-day delivery when a launch can't move. Subject to a free slot — we'll confirm before you commit.
Episode thumbnails and channel artwork sized for every platform, matched to your existing brand.
Before you book
The things B2B hosts usually ask before sending us their first file. If yours isn't here, call the studio and ask the editor directly.
Send three minutes of raw audio and we'll edit it for free at the Studio Standard level. You'll hear the ceiling before you pick a tier — most shows realise they want the mix and show notes once they've heard the difference.
Standard delivery is three business days from when your raw files land. Rush slots cut that to next business day for a 50% surcharge, when an editor is free. Series Partner clients get a batched schedule we agree at the start of the month.
Multitrack is ideal — a separate file per speaker. A local recording over Riverside, Zencastr or even good USB mics into a laptop works well. We'll send a one-page setup guide once you book, and we can salvage a lot if a session went sideways.
We can. The finished file is always distribution-ready — loudness-normalised, ID3-tagged, with notes and chapters attached. Series Partner includes direct upload to your host (Buzzsprout, Transistor, Captivate and others) so all you do is hit publish.
That's the Repair & Restore session. We'll listen first and give you an honest verdict — what's recoverable, what isn't, and roughly how long it'll take — before you're billed a cent. We won't take money to chase audio that can't be saved.
By invoice — per episode for one-off work, or monthly for Series Partner. We agree the scope and price in writing before any editing starts, so the number on the invoice is the number you approved. No platform fees, no estimate creep. Visa, Mastercard, Amex and ACH accepted.
